Deha Raksha Orthopedic Hospital is easy to find because it’s right near the bus stand. We get a lot of people coming in with bone issues, some from old age and some from falling down or accidents at work. Since we are near the bus stand, there is always a lot of movement and noise right outside the windows. You can hear the conductors shouting and the engines idling while you’re sitting in the waiting room. We have been here for a bit and the building has seen better days, but it works for what we do. We have some heavy equipment for x-rays and making sure bones are set right when there is a break. It's a bit noisy and cramped sometimes when it’s market day and more people are in town from the villages. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of glossy brochures to hand out. Most people find out about us just by seeing the sign when they get off the bus or by asking around the neighborhood. The doctors and the nurses here are usually busy, so they don't have much time for small talk, but they do their jobs. We try to keep things moving so people don't have to wait all day, though sometimes it happens if a complicated case comes in suddenly. It’s just a regular hospital trying to help people get back on their feet without making a big deal out of it.
