Our office is at 286 Shaniwar Peth in Satara. It’s a very traditional part of the city, with narrow streets and lots of old buildings. The pace of life here is definitely slower than what you find in places like Pune or Mumbai. We like it that way. Our space is in a building that’s seen a lot of years. The walls are thick and the rooms are a bit small, but it keeps the heat out during the summer months. We handle our power electronics business from here, mostly just sitting at our old wooden desks and dealing with whatever comes in that day. Satara is a nice place to live and work because everything is close by. We can walk to get lunch or run to the post office without it taking all day. There’s a lot of history in Shaniwar Peth, and you can feel it when you walk around the neighborhood. We know the people in the shops next door, and we usually exchange a nod when we open up in the morning. It’s not a high-tech looking place, just some shelves, a few computers, and us doing our jobs. We don't have any fancy mission statements or big goals, we just try to get the work finished correctly so we can go home to our families in the evening. There is plenty of paperwork to do, but we manage.
