Our place, Vinodrai Engineers Pvt. Ltd., is located a bit outside the main town. You have to drive down the Jalna Aurangabad Road until you hit the 12 Km Stone. We are right there at Dawalwadi in the Jalna district. It’s a bit of a commute for some of us, but you get used to the road after a while. The area around here is mostly open, which gives us plenty of room to move things around. Being out here means we aren't stuck in the middle of city traffic every day, though the dust on the road can be a bit much during the dry season. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. Most people around Jalna know where the 12 Km Stone is, so it’s not too hard for visitors to find us. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of machines and people talking over the noise. We aren't big on decorations or making things look pretty. It’s a workspace, plain and simple. We have our routine, starting early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. Maharashtra stays warm, and though our address mentions Madhya Pradesh too, we just stay focused on the work here at Dawalwadi. We keep the fans going and just get on with it. It’s a practical setup for the kind of engineering work we handle. We don’t worry about being fancy. We just make sure the gates are open on time and the work gets finished.
