Centurion Doors Mart

Our shop at Maulana Azad Chowk on T. V. Centre Road is easy to find because of all the wood stacked up. Centurion Doors Mart is basically a big warehouse and a small showroom where we spend our days. There is always the sound of saws or someone hammering something in the back. T. V. Centre Road is a loud place with lots of traffic, so we are used to shouting a bit to be heard. We don't have any polished sales pitches or a fancy catalog. Usually, we just show people what we have on the floor and talk about the different types of wood and frames. The air is always full of sawdust, which gets on everything, including our clothes. It is hard work and our hands are usually a bit rough from moving the heavy doors around. We don't have a big staff, just a few guys who know how to handle the materials. Sometimes we sit out front near the Chowk when things are slow and watch the cars go by. It is a straightforward business without any bells and whistles. We have been at this location for a good while and we just keep doing the same thing day after day because it is what we know. The coffee at the stall next door is better than what we make here, so we go there twice a day.
