You can find the Caste Free People'S Foundation over in Aurangabad, specifically in the Vasant Vihar Co-Op Society. We are in Block No. 2 in the Shrey Nagar area, postcode 431001. This is a fairly established part of Maharashtra, and the society we are in is mostly quiet, which helps when we are trying to get work done. We started this foundation because we saw how much division there still is in our daily lives, and we wanted a place where that didn't matter. The office is just a regular apartment space that we converted so we could have a place to meet and talk. There are always books and papers scattered around because we spend a lot of time reading up on laws and community rights. Neighbors often pop in just to see what we are up to or to complain about the local water supply, and we listen to all of it. We don't use big words or try to act like we have all the answers. Most of the time, we are just learning as we go, trying to figure out how to help people move past old ways of thinking. It’s honest work that happens over plastic chairs and shared lunches. We aren't trying to change the whole world overnight, just the small part of it we live in.
