Baba Trading Company

You can find Baba Trading Company over at Shop No. 133 in the Shivaji Market. We are tucked away in the Old Cidco area, which is always crowded and noisy, especially on market days. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to use every bit of wall space to hang things or stack them up to the ceiling. It can get a little cramped when more than two people are inside at once, but that’s just how it is in Shivaji Market. We’ve been at this spot for years, and the floor tiles are starting to show their age near the front door where everyone walks. I usually sit on a small stool near the entrance while my brother handles the deliveries out back. We get a lot of regulars who come by just to chat for a minute before buying what they need for their homes. It’s not the kind of place with air conditioning or bright lights, just some basic bulbs and a lot of stock. Sometimes the power goes out in this part of town, so we keep a couple of torches handy under the counter. We don’t have a website or anything like that. If someone needs to find us, they just look for shop 133 or ask the tea stall guy nearby. It's a simple way to run a business, but it works for us and we know most of our neighbors.
