Hindustan Printers

Hindustan Printers is located right in the middle of Dagadgalli Kumbharwada, not far from Gulmandi over in Aurangpura. It’s an old part of town, and the streets get pretty crowded with people and carts moving around. We’ve been set up here for quite some time now. The shop is usually full of the smell of ink and the sound of the machines running. It’s not a quiet place to sit and chat, that’s for sure. We handle a lot of paper every day, stack after stack of it. Sometimes the colors don't come out exactly right on the first try, so we have to mess with the settings until it looks okay. We don't have a big marketing department or a website with flashy photos. People usually find us because they walked past or a friend told them where we were. It’s just us and the presses. Sometimes the floor gets covered in paper scraps, but we sweep up at the end of the day. Working in Aurangabad, you get used to the pace of the local market. We just keep our heads down and get the printing done. If the machine breaks, we fix it ourselves if we can. It’s a straightforward job. We aren't doing anything fancy, just putting ink on paper for whoever needs it. You can find us near the Gulmandi area if you’re looking. Just listen for the clicking of the machines and you’ll find the door.
