Ashoka Tours

Our office is more of a local setup, situated in a colony rather than a big commercial building. This gives us a more relaxed atmosphere compared to the shops in the middle of town. We focus on organizing tours and helping people with their travel plans from this base in the 431003 zip code. The office is just a regular room with the necessary furniture and equipment to keep things running. We spend a lot of time on the telephone talking to transport providers and checking hotel availability. It’s mostly just sitting at the desk and making sure all the pieces of a trip fit together correctly. Being in Yeshodhara Colony means we mostly see people from around this area, though we get others too because of the nearby Karyalaya. We don't have any polished sales pitches or anything like that. We just talk through the options and write down the details. It is practical work that requires paying attention to the small things. We have been in this spot for a while and have a good routine down. It’s just us doing what we do, day in and day out, right here in Cidco Colony.
