Anand Hospital

Anand Hospital is located in Chittagoun, and it’s a place that’s been part of the community for a while. The area around here is quite old, with narrow streets and lots of little shops nearby. Our building is nothing special to look at from the outside, just a plain concrete structure that’s seen a lot of weather over the seasons. Inside, it’s a bit more organized, though we are always running out of space for files. I usually start my shift by checking the supply room to see what we need for the day. It’s a busy town, and we get people coming in at all hours. We don’t have a big budget for things like new furniture, so we make do with what we have. The chairs in the lobby are old but sturdy enough. We spend a lot of our time just talking to patients and their relatives who sit out in the courtyard when the weather is nice. It gets very humid here, so the fans are always spinning as fast as they can go to keep the air moving. We aren’t trying to be some big, fancy medical center. We’re just a local spot where people come when they aren’t feeling well. There’s a certain rhythm to the day here that you get used to after a while. We just keep the doors open and help whoever walks in from the street.
