Ameya Engg. Works

Ameya Engg. Works is tucked away in the MIDC industrial area of Waluj, specifically at C-77/1. If you know Waluj at all, you know it's a place where people actually make things with their hands. Our workshop is right in the thick of all that activity. We do a lot of machining and component work for various industries around here. The machines are a bit old but they are reliable, and we keep them running through constant maintenance and care. It’s a family-type atmosphere in the shop, even if we aren't all actually related. Most of the staff have been here for many years and they know exactly what to do. We don't go for the high-pressure corporate style you see in the big cities. Instead, we focus on the specs and making sure the dimensions are right before anything leaves the gate. The floor is usually busy with someone working a lathe or a drill press. We get a lot of trucks coming in and out, which can make the yard a bit of a mess during the monsoon season when the mud gets everywhere. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address and the name on the metal gate. It's enough for the people who need to find us. We don't spend time on social media. We'd rather be on the shop floor checking the quality of a batch. It’s a tough business, but we enjoy the daily challenge.
