Down in D-23 M.I.D.C. Waluj, we run the crane hiring business. It’s a big industrial area, so there’s always something moving around. We have different types of cranes sitting in the yard, waiting for the next call. It’s a lot of maintenance work, honestly. Keeping those machines running takes time and a lot of grease. Our drivers are usually out on the road or helping out at some construction site nearby. The office is just a small room where we keep the logs and take calls. Sometimes it’s quiet, and other days the phone won't stop. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while now. People in Waluj know where to find us. We don't do much advertising, mostly it’s just people seeing the cranes or hearing about us from someone else. It gets pretty dusty out here in the summer, but that’s just how it is in the MIDC. We try to keep things organized, though it can get messy when three or four jobs finish at the same time. The cranes need regular checks, so there is always someone poking around an engine or fixing a cable. We just handle the rentals and make sure the equipment gets to where it needs to be. It’s simple enough, but it keeps us busy from morning till night. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just doing our daily rounds. Sometimes the machines are temperamental, but we manage.
