Akar Tools Ltd. is located over at E-5 in the MIDC Area of Waluj. This is an industrial zone, so it is not the kind of place you go for a quiet walk. It’s dusty and loud with the sounds of manufacturing all around us. We have been here for quite some time, focusing on making tools. Our facility is more of a workshop than a corporate office. We have heavy machines running most of the day, and there is always a bit of oil or grease on the floor. It is just the nature of the work we do. The office part is small and sits right at the front. We spend our time managing production schedules and talking to customers about their requirements. It’s a tough environment, especially when the summer heat hits Aurangabad, but we are used to it. We don't have any marketing people or a big sales team. The guys on the floor are the ones who really make things happen. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the metal is good. It’s a practical business. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or advertisements. Most of our work comes from people who know our reputation for making things that last. We show up, do the work, and keep the machines maintained. That is pretty much our daily life here in Waluj.
