Abc Packers Logistic is located in the Cidco Waluj area. This is a very industrial part of the region, so there are always big trucks and containers moving around the streets. Our facility is basically a large warehouse space with a small section partitioned off for the office work. Most of what you see here are cardboard boxes, rolls of bubble wrap, and heavy-duty tape. It’s a noisy place because of the packing work and the vehicles idling outside. The office part has a couple of metal desks and some tall filing cabinets that are stuffed with transport documents and invoices. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with drivers and making sure the loading is done right. It gets very hot under the tin roof during the middle of the day, so we have a few big fans blowing all the time to keep us cool. The floor is usually covered in scraps of packing material and bits of tape that didn’t stick. It’s not a place for anyone who likes things to be perfectly clean and quiet. We are more focused on getting the crates loaded and the trucks out on time. There is a small tea stall just outside the gate where we usually go when we need a break from the heat and the noise. It is a hardworking environment with no frills at all.
