Lokmat

Lokmat is based out of Aurangabad in Maharashtra. We are in the 431010 area. Being in Aurangabad means we are part of a city that has a lot of history but is also growing quite fast. Our daily routine is pretty much what you would expect. We come in, get the lights on, and start dealing with the day's tasks. The weather here can get really hot in the summer, so we usually have the fans or the AC running all day long. We don't have a fancy street address to give out besides being here in the city, but everyone in the local area knows where we are. It’s a busy environment with people talking and phones ringing most of the time. We have a lot of papers and folders everywhere. It can look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know where everything is. The office is just a regular place with desks and old chairs. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about local news. Working in Maharashtra, especially in a place like Aurangabad, has its own rhythm. We’ve been part of this community for a long time. It isn't anything like those corporate offices you see in big movies. It’s just a practical space where we get our work done. We see the same faces every day and we like it that way. It's just home for us.
