Kalika Pheta & Events

Our shop is at Plot Number 94 in the Rokdiya Hanuman Colony. We are right on Jalna Road in Aurangabad. If you look opposite Balaji Vastu you will see where we are. Dealing with phetas is a traditional thing and we take it seriously. There are always rolls of cloth and different materials lying around the shop. We spend a lot of time tying turbans for weddings and other celebrations. It is a skill that takes some patience. The colony is a good location because people can stop by easily while they are on Jalna Road. It gets very dusty with all the traffic passing by but we keep the shop as clean as we can. We also handle some event planning when people ask for it. It is mostly local stuff for families in Aurangabad. We have a few staff members who are good with their hands. Most days are spent preparing the orders for the coming weekend. We don't have a website or anything fancy. People just know our name or they see our sign while driving past Balaji Vastu. It is a straightforward business based on what people need for their traditions. We stay busy during the wedding season especially. Sometimes we stay open late to finish a big batch of phetas. It is hard work but it is what we do here in the colony. The tea from the corner stall helps us get through the long evenings.
