P.C.S.B. Inter College

We are located right here in Bhuganiyapur, Kanpur. If you walk down the main road, you can't miss the building. It’s been standing for quite a while now. The morning starts early around here, usually before the sun gets too hot. Most of us arrive by 7:30 to get things ready for the day. P.C.S.B. Inter College isn't a very large place, but it fills up fast once the buses arrive. You can hear the chatter of the students from the street. Then there are the desks, which are the old wooden kind with plenty of marks on them from years of use. We don't have fancy air conditioning, so we rely on the ceiling fans and the breeze when it's moving. The hallways are narrow, and things get a bit chaotic when the bell rings between periods. Our staff mostly lives nearby in the Kanpur area, so everyone knows each other’s families. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy and making sure the chalkboards are clean. The courtyard gets dusty in the dry season, and then it’s a bit of a mess when the rains hit. It's just a regular school day every day. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. The focus is just on getting through the lessons and making sure the kids stay out of trouble during the breaks. Life in 209101 moves at its own pace, and we just follow along.
