Pandey Clinic

Pandey Clinic sits right near the main road in Madhavgarh, specifically in the Binduwa area. It’s a very easy place to find if you are traveling along that stretch of road. The clinic itself is part of a small row of buildings that have been here for years. It’s not a very large space, just enough for a waiting room and the private area where the doctor sits. Old chairs that have been sat in by a lot of people are lined up against the wall. The walls have a few cracks here and there, but nothing that bothers anyone. Because we are near the main road, we get a lot of dust, so we are always wiping down the tables and the medicine shelves. Life in Madhavgarh is fairly slow, but the clinic stays consistently busy with folks coming in from the nearby farms. We don't use a computer system; we just have our books and our pens. It’s a manual way of doing things, but it works for the people here. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use flashlights or wait for the generator. It’s just one of those things you get used to. We keep a water jug in the corner for anyone who is thirsty. It’s a plain, honest place where we just do our daily work and go home when the sun sets.
