Our place is out on Atunr Road in Bhilwara. It’s a bit away from the main city center, which gives us more space for the operations. Sangam India has been around for a long time. People here know us mostly for the textile work we do. The road can be a bit rough during the monsoon, but we are used to it by now. We don't have a glossy front office. It’s more of a place where things actually get made. We spend our days looking at production schedules and talking to the supervisors. There is always a smell of raw cotton and oil in the air, which we don't even notice anymore. We aren't trying to be something we're not. We just produce what's needed. The tea stall down the road is where most of us go during breaks. It’s a simple life, focused on getting the yards of cloth out the door. We have machines that run almost all day and night. Managing a place like this takes a lot of patience. We have some old desks and plenty of filing cabinets full of papers from over the years. We just focus on the work and try to keep things moving. It isn't always easy, but we've been doing it this way for a long time now.
