Sabhari Eye Hospital

Sabhari Eye Hospital is on 39 Muniyan Street in Pudupet, Attur. It’s a narrow street, so it’s usually better to walk than to try and bring a big car in here. The hospital focuses on eyes, so we have those charts on the walls with all the letters that get smaller at the bottom. The building is a simple two-story structure. We have the eye testing stuff on the ground floor because it’s easier for older people to get to. It’s often quite bright inside so we can see what we are doing. Attur is a busy town, and Pudupet is one of those areas where there’s always something going on. We have a small waiting area with a TV that’s usually playing the news or a movie on low volume. Most of our patients come from the surrounding farms and villages. They usually come in early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. We have a few assistants who help with the glasses and the eye drops. The floor is that grey stone that stays cool even in the summer. We keep our records in big cardboard boxes under the main desk. It isn't a high-end clinic with expensive furniture. It’s just a plain hospital on Muniyan Street where people come to get their vision checked. We stay busy enough and the days go by pretty fast. Sometimes the street gets blocked by a cart, but that is just how things are in Pudupet.
