S D Supermarket is located at number 1, Karthanoor Post, in the Ramiyanahalli Taluka of Pappireddipatti. It’s a local store that’s been serving the people around here for some time now. Being in a place like Pappireddipatti, you get to see the same faces every day. We aren't one of those massive chains you see in the big cities. Our shop is just a regular place where you can pick up what you need for the kitchen or the house. The shelves are usually packed, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what you’re looking for, but we’re always around to help out. The area of Karthanoor is pretty quiet, which we like. It gives us a chance to actually talk to the people who come in. We don't have a lot of fancy lights or a big marketing plan. We just open up in the morning, sweep the floor, and start stocking the items that arrived. The weather can be a bit humid, but the fans keep the store okay. We’ve learned over time what the local families need, so we try to keep those things in stock. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting crates and counting items, but it keeps us busy. We’re just a small part of the community here, doing our best to keep the shelves full and the shop running smoothly every single day.
