Kumaran Brothers Agency

We have our main space at 487, 1St Main Road in Pudupatti. It is just a standard shopfront that looks like all the others on this street. Kumaran Brothers Agency is run by me and my two brothers. We took the whole thing over from our father about ten years ago when he retired. It is a lot of responsibility to keep it going, but we manage to get through the weeks. We handle a wide variety of goods for the town. Our shelves are usually packed to the ceiling, and sometimes it is hard to find a specific item if you do not know our system. We do not have a computer to track the inventory. We mostly just use a thick notebook and our own memories. It has worked fine for us so far. The neighbors stop by a lot just to chat about the local news, even if they are not looking to buy anything. We do not mind the company. It makes the long afternoons go by much faster. The street outside is always noisy with the sound of scooters and people walking toward the market. We keep a small metal fan running in the corner because it gets incredibly stuffy in here. We are not looking to expand or become a big chain. We like being a local agency in Pudupatti. We just do what we can with the space we have.
