Sri Divya Sai Travels

Our travel office, Sri Divya Sai Travels, is located at house number 7-16 in Athmakur. It is basically just a small room at the front of the house where we have a desk and a couple of chairs for people to sit while we talk about their trips. We have been doing this for quite a while, helping folks get to the city or arranging cars for weddings in the village. My uncle owns two of the cars and we hire drivers from the neighborhood when things get really busy during the festival season. The walls are mostly bare except for a calendar and a map that is starting to peel at the corners. We do not have a computer for everything, so a lot of our notes are kept in big paper ledgers that are stacked on the shelf. It can be a bit slow in the middle of the week, so we spend time cleaning the vehicles or just chatting with the people walking by. If you come by in the evening, you might find us sitting outside on the steps because it gets a bit stuffy inside. We know the roads around here very well, including all the spots where the pavement is bad. Most of our customers are just families who need a reliable way to get from one place to another. We just try to show up on time and make sure there is enough petrol in the tank.
