Sukh Shanti Polyclinic

Sukh Shanti Polyclinic is our little medical spot over here in Gokak. We’ve been serving the people in this town for quite a long time now. Since we're a polyclinic, we have a few different things going on under one roof. You might see a dentist one day and a general doctor the next. It’s a simple building, nothing too modern, but it’s right in the heart of Gokak so people can walk here if they need to. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us, a few rooms, and the equipment we need to help folks out. Most of our days are spent chatting with neighbors who have come in for their regular checkups. Sometimes it gets a little crowded in the waiting area, especially on market days when everyone is in town. We try to keep things moving along but we don't like to rush people either. It’s a balance we’ve been working on for years. The staff here are all local people, so we know most of the families who come through the door. We don't use any fancy language or complicated medical talk if we can help it. We just tell it like it is and try to get people back on their feet. Living and working in Gokak is quiet, and running this polyclinic is just our way of contributing to the town. We're happy to be here doing this work.
