Our business, Siddu & Company, is located at 33-6-45 in the Vijayapuranam area. We are tucked away in Haluvalli, near Athani. It’s a quiet spot for the most part. We handle a variety of trade work and supplies. The office is just a small room at the front of the warehouse where we keep the books and take orders. It’s usually cluttered with samples and half-empty tea cups. We don't put a lot of effort into making the place look like a showroom. The focus is more on getting the orders out to the people who need them. Athani can get quite dusty, so we spend a lot of time sweeping out the front area. Most of the people we work with have been dealing with us for a long time. They know we don’t have a fancy phone system or a secretary. If you call, one of us will pick up if we aren't in the back moving stock. We use an old truck for our local deliveries, and it makes a lot of noise, so people usually hear us coming before we even reach their gate. Vijayapuranam is a good community, and we’ve been part of it for long enough to know how things work around here. We just try to stay busy and keep the shelves filled with what our regulars expect. It’s steady work, and it’s what we know. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we usually end up after the day is finished.
