You can find us on Bus Stand Road in Gokak. It’s a very busy street, as you can imagine, with all the buses coming and going all day. We are right in the thick of it, which makes it easy for people traveling from the outlying villages to find us as soon as they get off the bus. The noise from the traffic is just something we’ve gotten used to over the years. Our building is a simple one, and we keep it that way on purpose. We don't want people to feel like they are entering some high-pressure environment. It’s just a regular local hospital where we do our best to look after whoever walks in. Sometimes the waiting area gets a bit full, especially on market days when more people are in town. We just pull out a few extra stools and keep things moving. We don't use any big fancy machines that we don't need; we just focus on the basic care that our community relies on. The staff here has been together for a long time, so we work like a family. We know the regulars and their families, and that makes the work feel more personal. It’s a bit dusty outside because of the road, but we keep the inside tidy. It’s just our way of life here in Gokak, right by the buses, and we like being easy to find for everyone.
