We are United Builders & Suppliers, and you can find us at Hill View North in Lower Chelidanga, over in the Burdwan district. It’s a bit out of the way from the main town, but it gives us plenty of space for our supplies. We deal with building materials like bricks and pipes, and also take on some small construction projects around the area when we have the time. The yard is usually full of bricks, sand, and bags of cement waiting to be loaded. It can get quite messy and dusty, especially when it’s windy outside. We have a small shack that serves as our main office where we keep the ledgers and handle the payments. It’s not fancy at all, just a place to sit and escape the sun for a few minutes. We’ve been working in Burdwan for quite a long time now. People know they can come to us for basic supplies without a lot of hassle or paperwork. We don't have a big marketing team or social media; it’s just a few of us who know about building. Sometimes we’re short on help, so we have to do the heavy lifting ourselves even if our backs hurt. The work is hard and leaves us tired at the end of the day. But there is a sense of satisfaction in seeing a house go up using materials we supplied from our yard. We aren't trying to be the biggest builders in the state.
