Tisco (Under Contractor)

We operate out of Nayabasti, right near Radhanagar Road in Burnpur. It is a bit of a trek to get here if you do not know the Burdwan district well. Most of the crew lives nearby, so we just walk or bike in. Working as a contractor for Tisco means there is always a schedule to follow. We are not the main office, just the ones on the ground doing the actual tasks. The area can get pretty dusty with all the activity. We have a small setup here. It is not anything you would see in a magazine. There are tools everywhere and the coffee is usually cold by the time we get to it. We deal with whatever the main plant needs us to handle. Sometimes it is maintenance, other times it is just moving things from point A to point B. The sun gets really hot in the afternoon. We try to finish the heavy lifting before it peaks. People in Burnpur know this area is mostly industrial. We have got a lot of respect for the work. It is tough on the hands and the back. There is a stray dog that hangs around the entrance most mornings. We give him some scraps. It makes the place feel a bit more like home. We are just regular people trying to do a regular job. We do not spend money on fancy signs. If you need us, just ask around.
