Our place is out in Shankarpur Colliery, near Post- Ukhra. It’s a bit of a trek for some, being out in the Andal area of West Burdwan, but we’ve been rooted here for a good bit. Working in an industrial and mining zone means things are a little different than the city. Dust gets in everywhere, and we are constantly cleaning off the counters. We deal with computers and tech stuff mostly. It’s funny how much tech is needed even in a colliery area. Most of the people who come in are local workers or families from the nearby quarters. We keep the shop open regular hours, though sometimes the power cuts in this district make things a bit tricky. We just wait it out or use the generator when we have to. It’s not a shiny corporate office, just a room with some desks and parts lying around. People usually find us by asking around the post office or the station. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the heavy trucks passing by on the main road. We don't spend much time on fancy talk. If someone has a problem with their machine, they bring it in, and we look at it. That’s how we’ve always operated. It keeps us busy enough throughout the week. Sometimes we sit outside when it is slow just to watch the world go by.
