M/s Debasish Chandra & Co. is situated over in Rajbandh. If you know where the Utsav Resort is in Durgapur, we are right near there. Being in West Burdwan is good for us because it’s a central spot for the work we do. We aren’t a huge operation with hundreds of employees. It’s a smaller group of us working out of the office and the yard. The area near Utsav Resort is usually pretty active with people coming and going for events, so there is always some noise around. We don't have a glossy brochure or a fancy mission statement. We just come in, check the books, and deal with whatever projects are on the table for the day. Sometimes the weather in Durgapur gets really hot, which makes work in the yard a bit slow, but we get through it. We’ve been part of the Rajbandh community for a long time now. People know they can find us here without much trouble. We don't spend a lot on advertising because we prefer to let the work speak for itself. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it suits us. M/s Debasish Chandra & Co. is just a practical business run by people who live and work right here in the West Burdwan district. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just a few chairs and a lot of focus on our daily tasks.
