Mohsin Iqbal & Co.

Mohsin Iqbal & Co. is based out of East Kenda, which is part of the Jamuria area in West Burdwan. We’ve been set up here for a good while now, right in the village where everyone knows everyone else. It is not a big corporate setup or anything like that, just a local spot where we get our daily work done. The post office is in Kenda and we are just down the road from there. Most days it is just us handling whatever tasks come our way. We don't have a big staff or fancy uniforms. We just open up in the morning and see what the day brings. People from around the district stop by when they need something handled. It’s a quiet life here, mostly. We started this because there was a need for it in the village. Sometimes the power goes out or the roads get a bit rough during the monsoon, but we stay open regardless. We don't spend money on big ads or marketing stuff because most folks just hear about us from their neighbors. It feels more natural that way. We like being part of this community. You can find us easily if you are familiar with the Jamuria police station area. We’ve seen kids grow up and go to school while we’ve been sitting at these desks. It’s a simple business, nothing flashy, just local people helping out other local people with what they need.
