Larsen & Toubro Limited - Ecc Division

We are located in the Purbasha Housing Estate, right on Manicktala Main Road in Kolkata. Our unit is D-18/1, and it’s been our base in the city for a good while. Kolkata is a busy, noisy place, and Manicktala is no exception. There is always the sound of yellow taxis and buses outside. The housing estate offers a bit of a buffer, though. Our office is filled with the usual stuff: old filing cabinets, stacks of blueprints, and a few computers that have seen a lot of work. We aren't into the whole modern, minimalist office look. We like having our things where we can see them. Most of the staff here have lived in Kolkata their whole lives. We drink a lot of chai and spend a lot of time making sure the paperwork for the West Bengal projects is in order. It’s a very hands-on environment. There aren't any fancy slogans on the walls. We just come in, check the messages, and get to work on whatever needs fixing that day. Sometimes the rains make the commute a mess, but we all show up anyway. It’s a practical, no-nonsense office where the main goal is just to keep things moving forward. We don't have a public relations person. If you come by, you’ll just talk to one of us who actually knows what’s going on at the site. It is just a real place for real work.
