Sg Housing Projects Private Limited is based out of B-1/5 in the Malti Mangal Pluza-130, which sits right on the GT Road. It is a busy location because the GT Road is a major artery, and there is always a stream of cars and buses passing by our windows. In our office, we deal with the everyday realities of housing projects and land development. It is not all glamorous designs; most of it is just sitting with a calculator and a bunch of files trying to make sure the numbers add up. We have a few desks and a table where we lay out the site plans so we can mark them up with red pens. It’s a small team, and we all know each other’s business, which helps when things get stressful. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up some paperwork for the local authorities or to talk to a contractor who can only meet after his shift ends. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy slogans. We just talk to people who want to buy a home or invest in a plot and explain the details to them as best as we can. The tea here is usually too sweet, but it keeps us going during the long afternoons when the sun hits the front of the plaza. We’ve been here for years, and we just keep plugging away at one project after another without much fuss.
