Ghanty Sarees

Ghanty Sarees is located over in Apcar Gardens in Asansol. It’s a decent neighborhood and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Asansol is a place where people appreciate a steady worker. We don't have a big flashy storefront with bright lights. Most people find us because they’ve lived around here for years and know where we are. The shop is tucked away and filled with stacks of items from floor to ceiling. It can get a bit dusty if we don't stay on top of it, but that’s the nature of the business. We don't have a website or any of that modern stuff. We just talk to the people who walk through the door. Usually, it’s the same faces we see every week. We know their names and what they like. It’s a slow pace of life in Apcar Gardens and we don't mind that at all. We sit on our stools and wait for the next person to come in. When it’s quiet, we just organize the shelves or have some tea from the shop next door. We don't make a big deal out of anything. The building is old but sturdy enough. We’ve seen the weather change and the seasons go by from our front window. It’s just a regular local shop where we do our best to keep things moving. There’s no corporate talk here, just plain English and honest daily work.
