Franklyn - The Language Institute

We've been over here at Namita Apartment for a while now, specifically on the fourth floor in Flat Rg/J. Being right near Upendranath School makes it pretty easy for folks to find us when they're walking along S.B. Gorai Road. We mostly deal with helping people learn different languages. It’s a quiet spot, which helps when you’re trying to focus on grammar or speaking. Most of the time it’s just us and the students sitting around talking. We don't have fancy lobbies or anything like that. It’s just a regular apartment turned into a place for classes. We started this because we noticed people around here wanted to pick up new skills but didn't want to travel too far into the main city. The building is usually busy during the day, so there's always some life around. We keep things pretty simple. You come in, grab a chair, and we get to work on the books. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud, but nobody really minds. We just try to make sure everyone feels comfortable enough to actually try speaking. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a local place where we know most people by their first names. If you’re walking past the school, you’ve probably seen our sign. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a bit and plan to stay here on the fourth floor for the foreseeable future. Just a normal place doing its thing day by day.
