Our office is located at 5/10 Kasiram Das Road, right in the B Zone area of Durgapur Steel Town East. We are quite close to Chandi Das Market, which is a place most people around here know well. It is an old part of town with a lot of character, and we have been tucked away in this spot for quite a while now. As architects, we spend a lot of time at our drafting tables or looking at screens, trying to figure out the best way to use a space. The partners here have been working together for years, so we have a bit of a rhythm going. We don't have a shiny glass office or a bunch of receptionists. It is a working space where things get done. You will see rolls of paper and old models of buildings sitting on the shelves. People come to us when they want to build something in Durgapur because we understand how things work in this city. We don't use a lot of fancy jargon to impress anyone. We just listen to what someone needs and then we try to draw it out for them. Sometimes we disagree on a design, but that is just part of the creative process. It is a quiet, steady environment where we focus on the task at hand. We enjoy being part of the Steel Town community and seeing our designs actually get built on the local streets. It is rewarding work for us.
