Working out of the Burnpur Mankoli-Anjur Phata Road area in Bhiwandi means you deal with a lot of traffic and dust every day. Spix Tradecom Pvt. Ltd. is right in the middle of all that action. Our office isn't anything special to look at, mostly just desks piled with papers and the sound of trucks rumbling past outside. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating things and making sure the inventory moves like it's supposed to. Bhiwandi is a busy place, and it never really seems to sleep. Sometimes the tea guy comes around twice before we even realize how much time has passed. We handle a lot of the back-end stuff that people don't usually see, just making sure the goods get from one point to another without getting stuck. The road outside can be a real mess during the monsoon, which makes everything run a bit slower, but we just deal with it as it comes. It's a lot of practical work, checking lists and talking to drivers who are usually tired from being on the road. We’ve been at this for a while now, so we know the local routes and the shortcuts that actually work. It’s a bit of a grind, but it’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late. We don't have fancy brochures or a big reception area, just a workspace where the job gets done and the trucks keep moving.
