About Global Fly Ash Bricks – Building & Construction Material in Arvi
We're based in Post Rohana, which is a bit of a drive out in District Wardha. Global Fly Ash Bricks is where we spend all our time. These bricks are a bit different from the clay ones. We use fly ash and mix it up in the machines. It’s a grey, dusty business. The yard is usually full of stacks waiting to dry. We moved here because there was enough space to spread things out. It’s just a few of us running the operations. We have to watch the mixture closely or the bricks don't hold up. The weather in Wardha can be pretty dry, which helps with the setting. We don't really have a big staff, so everyone does a bit of everything. One day you're shoveling, the next you're loading a truck. We get some local contractors coming by from the nearby towns. They like these bricks because they're uniform. Our location in Rohana is quiet most of the time, except when the mixers are running. We don't bother with much paperwork beyond what's needed. It’s a practical way to make a living. We just focus on getting the stacks high and the quality decent enough for building. It’s not a glamorous job, but we’re used to the dust and the noise by now. It takes a lot of water to get the mix right, so we're always busy with the hoses. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to fix it ourselves. It's just life here.
