Dsk Exports & Imports

Our shop, Dsk Exports & Imports, is located at No. 69 Sivan Kovil Street. If you know the Chokalingapuram area, you know it can get a bit busy near the temple. We’ve been here for a good bit now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and stacks of paperwork. We don't have any of those modern open-plan offices you see on TV. It’s a bit cramped, especially when a big shipment comes in and we have to find space for it all. We usually just pile things up safely and work around them. My brother handles most of the intake, and I look after the outgoing stuff. We don't use any fancy software, just some basic spreadsheets and a lot of notebooks. Sometimes we lose a pen and spend ten minutes looking for it. That’s just life here. We don't try to act like we’re some huge international corporation. We're just a local business trying to make things work. The heat gets to us sometimes, so we keep the fans going full blast all day. It’s a lot of physical work, and our hands are usually a bit dusty by the end of the shift. But the work is steady, and we like the people we deal with. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living.
