Green Timber Plywoods

You can find Green Timber Plywoods right on Ph Road in Arumbakkam, not too far from the Tcs Manapuram building. The shop has two numbers, new No.1037 and old No 524, which sometimes confuses the delivery drivers. We have stacks of plywood and timber piled up all over the place. The smell of cut wood is the first thing you notice when you walk inside. It is a heavy job, moving those big sheets around all day, and my back definitely feels it by the afternoon. We mostly help out local carpenters and people trying to fix up their own homes. We aren't a big fancy showroom with bright lights. It is more of a practical warehouse where things are stacked high and the floors are covered in sawdust. We have been here for a good amount of time, watching the area around Ph Road change and get more crowded. Sometimes we have to move the trucks quickly so they don't block the road. It is just me and a couple of helpers managing the inventory. We spend a lot of time measuring boards and marking them with pencils. We don't always get the stacks perfectly straight, but we know where everything is kept. It is a simple trade, selling wood to people who need it. We just focus on keeping enough stock so we don't run out when a big order comes in.
