Our place is located at number 77 in the Industrial Area right off Mysore Road. Channarayapatna is a very busy place, and being in the industrial zone means constant noise from the nearby factories. We handle all kinds of cement products here, so everything in the yard looks gray and heavy. Most of the time, you will find us out in the open or near the mixing machines. It is definitely not the kind of place for wearing your best clothes or shoes. Heavy lifting is a daily reality, so everyone here is usually pretty tired by the time the shift ends. Traffic coming in from Mysore Road can be a bit of a headache when we are trying to back a large lorry into the loading area. There is no big office building, just one small room with a ceiling fan and a metal desk for the invoices. We have been operating out of this same spot for quite a long time now. Knowing most of the other business owners on this street helps, and we often lend a hand if a machine breaks down or if someone needs an extra worker. Money isn't spent on advertising because news travels fast enough in this town by itself. If we say the stock is ready, it is usually ready. Being honest with the people who walk through the gate is the only way we know how to work. It is a simple way to run things, and it keeps the stress down.
