You’ll find Abad Exports over in Aroor, specifically at 1/168. Aroor has that specific coastal feel, and we are right in the thick of it. Since we are an export outfit, our days are mostly dictated by the tide of shipments coming and going. The building isn't much to look at from the outside, just a functional space where we can manage the logistics and the storage needs for our exports. We have been at this P.O. address for quite a long time now. The office floors are a bit worn down from people moving around, and there’s always a calendar on the wall marked up with export deadlines and pickup dates. It can get quite humid here, so the fans are always going full speed throughout the day. Most of our work involves talking to suppliers and making sure the quality is what it needs to be before anything gets packed into a container. It’s not a glamorous job, but someone has to make sure the boxes are labeled right and the trucks are on schedule. We often have tea together in the late afternoons, looking over the latest manifests and shipping logs. The locals around here know us well, and we prefer it that way. No big corporate layers, just a few of us making sure the export business stays on track day after day. It’s a steady rhythm that we have gotten used to over the years of doing this.
