We are based out of Kunnummal House in Ariyallur, over near Kodakkad. It’s a bit of a quiet area compared to the city, but we like it that way. We do engineering and contracting work. It’s a lot of technical stuff mixed with actual physical labor. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, it’s just one of us answering the phone or checking the mail. The house has been our base for a while. We handle various projects that come our way. Sometimes it’s a lot of planning, other times it’s just being on-site and making sure things are being built right. We have a few vehicles and some tools we use. It's not a complicated setup. We know the local area well. People around Kodakkad know where to find us if they need something done. We don't put out ads in the paper or anything. We just rely on the work we’ve already finished to show what we can do. It can be stressful when deadlines are tight, but that’s the nature of contracting. We try to be honest about how long things take. Materials cost what they cost, and we just tell people that. It’s a small team here. We all know each other. We just get on with it. Not much else to say really. We work, we finish, and we move on to the next one. It's just a regular way to make a living.
