Ks Granite

Ks Granite is located right on Sendurai Main Road in Thular. If you are driving through, you can’t miss the stacks of stone. We have been at 98/7 for a while. It’s mostly just us and the sound of the trucks going past. Working with granite is a slow process. You can’t rush moving these slabs or you’ll end up hurting yourself or breaking the stone. We spend a lot of time outside in the yard. Thular is a small place, so we know a lot of the people who come in. They aren't looking for anything crazy, just something solid for their doorsteps or their kitchen counters. I like the way the granite feels when it’s been polished up, but most of the time it’s just raw and dusty in the yard. We have to use the water hose a lot to clean off the slabs so the colors pop out. Some pieces have been sitting there for months, and others go the same day they arrive. It’s a bit of a gamble what people will like. We don't do much advertising, people just see the sign on the main road and pull over. It’s a simple setup, nothing like those big city showrooms, but it works for us. We just keep the gate open and handle the stones as they come in from the quarries.
