Catamaran Import Export Private Limited

We are located in Jayamkondacholapuram, which is a bit of a mouthful if you aren't from around here in Ariyalur. Our place is at Door Number 120 on Udyarstreet. Catamaran Import Export Private Limited is basically a group of locals who decided to get into the trading business. We handle stuff coming in and going out, mostly focusing on what people in this region need or what we can send elsewhere. The office is pretty basic, but it has enough room for our desks and all the files we have to keep. Being in a place like Ariyalur means we know our neighbors and everyone knows what we do. It’s not like the big cities where everything is anonymous. We have to be careful with our reputation because word travels fast. The work involves a lot of coordination with trucks and shipping agents. Some days are stressful when a shipment is stuck, but most of the time we just keep a steady pace. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just try to get the goods where they need to go without too much trouble. It is a practical business run by people who live right here in the town. We've been at this for a bit now and we plan to stay for a long time. It’s just how we make our living. There is always work to be done and we are glad for it.
