Dr V Youvaraj Clinic is right at the Odugathur round tana circle. If you are familiar with Odugathur, you know the circle is where everything happens. There is always noise from the buses and the local transport zooming around the tana. Our clinic is tucked in right there among the other shops. It’s a very simple setup because we are mostly serving the local villagers and people who live right in the center of town. We don't have any air conditioning or big plush sofas. It is just wooden benches and a concrete floor. Dr Youvaraj has been seeing patients here for a long time. The clinic is usually the first place people go when they feel under the weather. We see a lot of farmers and small shop owners throughout the day. The hours can be a bit long especially when the weather is tough but we stay open as long as there are people waiting. It is not a polished medical office like you might find in a big city. We have some old charts on the wall and a desk that has seen better days. But it works for us and the people who come here. We don't do any big advertising. Everyone knows where the round tana is and they know where to find us. We just keep things moving one patient at a time without any fuss.
