Seethalakshmi Tuition Center

Seethalakshmi Tuition Center is over on Kamarajar Salai. We're on the second floor, 85-C, right across from Alankar Theater. It’s a busy spot in Madurai. The stairs are a bit narrow, so the kids usually make a lot of noise coming up after school finishes. We started this place because kids in the neighborhood needed somewhere to sit and go through their math and science books properly. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just some desks, a couple of whiteboards, and fans that we keep running all day because Madurai gets so hot. You can hear the traffic from Mahalingam Servai Street most of the time. Sometimes the movie crowds at Alankar get a bit loud, but the students get used to it after a week or two. We spend our evenings here mostly. Parents stop by after work to pick up their children and ask how the studies are going. We don’t have any big slogans or shiny posters on the walls. It’s just about getting the homework done and making sure the kids understand what they read in class that morning. Usually, we stay open until the last batch of students finishes their practice tests. It’s a simple routine we’ve had for a while now. The building is older, but it serves the purpose. If you’re looking for us, just look for the theater and then find the entrance on the side street.
