Ellora International Kids School

If you know the Mariamman Theppakulam area in Madurai, then you know exactly where we are located. We sit on New Ramnad Road in Anuppanady. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of history. Our school is just for the little kids, the ones just starting out. We have set up the place to be as welcoming as a regular building can be for toddlers and young children. The rooms are colorful, mostly because of the posters and stuff we put up on the walls. We don't have a massive campus, but it is enough for what we do. Every morning is the same—lots of crying at first from the new ones, then it turns into singing and playing. We have a few toys and some outdoor space for them to move around. It’s a local school, so we know most of the parents by name. We don't use any complicated systems; we just stick to a simple daily plan that keeps the kids busy and learning their letters and numbers. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard to hear, but we manage. It’s a practical choice for parents who live around the Theppakulam. We just do our best to look after the children and give them a decent start before they go off to bigger schools. Most of our days are spent just making sure everyone is happy and safe.
