Our school is located in Dhamdaha, which is a quiet part of the Purnia district. It’s a pretty rural setting compared to the big cities. Most people around here are involved in farming or small local businesses. The school building is a simple structure that stands out a bit in the village. We have a decent amount of space around us. The kids usually walk here from their homes nearby. It’s a public school, so things are kept basic and functional. We don't have high-tech gadgets or anything like that. Just blackboards, chalk, and textbooks. The teachers are mostly people from the local area who want to help out. Mornings start with a bit of noise as the kids settle into their benches. We have a small playground where they spend their free time playing tag or just sitting around. The weather gets quite hot in the summer, but we have some fans and big windows to catch a breeze. Sometimes the cows from the nearby fields wander close to the gate, which is just normal for us. It’s a very grounded place. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s just about giving the children a place to learn their basics and hang out with their friends. Everyone knows everyone else in Dhamdaha, so it feels like a big family most of the time. We’ve been here for years and the community knows where to find us. It is just a part of the daily life here.
