Maa Kali Trader

Maa Kali Trader is located on Sadar Road in Ward No 10, just a stone's throw away from Jupiter Chowk. It’s a busy spot with people and rickshaws going by all day. Our shop is one of those places where you can find a bit of this and a bit of that. We don't specialize in just one thing, we mostly trade in whatever the local people are asking for at the time. The building is old and the wooden stairs creak when you walk up them. We keep our stock in the back room and sometimes it takes a minute to dig out exactly what a customer wants. We’ve been here at Jupiter Chowk for a long time, and we know most of the people who walk past our door. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We sit on plastic chairs and drink tea while we wait for deliveries. Sometimes the power goes out and we just light a few candles and keep talking to whoever is in the shop. We don’t have a mission statement or any of that stuff. We just try to buy at a fair price and sell at a fair price so we can keep the lights on. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but everyone knows where we are. It’s just a regular local business doing what we can every day to stay busy.
