Krishnashri Welfare Foundation

Krishnashri Welfare Foundation is run out of Bimal Kishor Singh’s place in Village Basaithi. We are located in the Raniga block of the Araria district. It is a quiet village for the most part, and we like it that way. We don't have a proper office building. We just use a part of the house to keep our things and meet with anyone who stops by. Araria can be a tough place to live sometimes, especially when the weather isn't cooperating, but we stay busy. We focus on the small things that people in Basaithi need. It might be helping someone understand a government form or just giving a hand with a local project. We are just a few people from the village who wanted to do something useful. There is no corporate structure here. We don't have titles or fancy business cards. If someone needs help, they just look for Bimal or one of the others. We spend a lot of time out in the fields or at the local tea shop talking to people. It is the best way to know what is actually going on. Sometimes we run out of supplies or things move slower than we want, but that is just life in the village. We are happy to be here and doing what we can for our neighbors. It is simple, local work that keeps us grounded and connected to the land.
